Cowgirl Equestrian Remains at No. 2
February 11, 2020 | Cowgirl Equestrian
STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State Equestrian team returns to Stillwater for the home opener of the spring season still ranked No. 2 in the NCEA Farnam poll, maintaining its spot from last week.
Last week the Cowgirls traveled to the Dallas Equestrian Center to face now seventh-ranked SMU. The Mustangs won each event with the exception of Flatand pulled away after sweeping the second half of the meet.
OSU, which earned three-straight wins to close out the fall season, is 6-3 on the year and looks to get back in the win column at home this weekend.
At No. 2, OSU is the highest-ranked team in the Big 12 Conference, with the closest team being Fresno State at No. 4 followed by No. 6 TCU and No. 9 Baylor. The Cowgirls still have all three Big 12 foes remaining on the schedule in the spring season.
The Cowgirls will be back in action Saturday at Totusek Arena when they host TCU beginning at 10 a.m.
