The Basics
-Â The Cowgirls are entering the spring season ranked No. 11 in the country.
- OSU will play doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday to begin its spring season. Oral Roberts and Central Arkansas will travel to Stillwater on Sunday.
- Cowgirls swept the ITA Central Regional Championships in the fall as Lisa Rioux and Ayumi Miyamoto defeated teammates Dariya Detkovskaya and Bunyawi Thamchaiwat to claim the doubles title. Rioux was crowned the singles champion over Detkovskaya in the tournament as well.
- OSU will travel to Las Vegas for the Freeman Memorial Invitational next weekend for individual play. Team play will resume with a match against San Diego in Stillwater on Jan. 25 at 3 p.m.

- The Cowgirls hold an impressive 25-4 record against Wichita State since their first meeting in 1979. OSU is undefeated at home against the Shockers in 13 total meetings; its four losses all came in Wichita.
- Wichita State finished the 2018-19 season with a 14-10 record. It lost in the second round of the American Athletic Conference Championships against Tulsa after defeating UCONN in the first round.
- The Shockers went just 3-4 on the road last season, but two of those losses were against ranked opponents.
- Wichita State has one doubles team in the ITA Division I rankings. Marta Bellucco and Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva are ranked No. 53 in the country. Bellucco lost to Oklahoma State's Alana Wolfberg in the ITA Central Regional Championships in the fall.
