STILLWATER – Oklahoma State scored early and then used a flurry of second-half goals to put away Oral Roberts in a 4-0 win in its 2019 home opener at Neal Patterson Stadium.

Olyvia Dowell tallied a pair of goals for the Cowgirls, while Gabriella Coleman and Julia Lenhardt also found the back of the net as OSU improved to 2-0-1 on the season.

The shutout marked OSU's second in three matches this season as Dani Greenlee and Brylee Brasher combined for the clean sheet.

Coleman needed just 18 seconds to put OSU on top as she scored one of the fastest goals in program history, taking a pass from Jaci Jones and blasting a shot top shelf to the far post for her second goal of the season.

That goal would be the lone score for the next 71 minutes, but the Cowgirls would unleash their attack and produce three goals during a 5:32 span to bury ORU (1-3-0).

Dowell got things started, sending in a shot from 12-yards out to the near post to put OSU up, 2-0. Claire Gantzer recorded an assist on the play, which marked Dowell's second goal of the season.

The freshman needed less than three minutes to notch her third-career score as she extended the OSU lead to 3-0 in the 75^th minute with a 16-yard blast.

Lenhardt joined in on the scoring action in the 78^th minute when she bombed a 25-yard attempt over the hands of leaping ORU goalie Allison Austin to provide the final 4-0 margin.

OSU finished with a 16-6 advantage in shots in the match, while owning a 4-3 edge on corner kicks.

The Cowgirls remain at home for their next two contests this week as they host Central Arkansas Friday before a Sunday showdown against Saint Louis.
