Likekele, USA Basketball Roll Latvia To Advance At U19 World Cup

HERAKLION, Greece – Oklahoma State guard Isaac Likekele hauled in nine rebounds and dished out four assists in USA Basketball's 116-66 victory over Latvia in the round of 16 at the FIBA U19 World Cup.

Trevion Williams and Jeremiah Robinson both had 17 points to lead the USA, which turned Latvia over 27 times and held them to 34.8 percent from the floor. Likekele had four points on 1-of-4 shooting, but did not have a turnover in 19:59 of action.

The 50-point win is the largest of the tournament by the Americans (4-0) and secured them a spot in the quarterfinals, where they will face either Russia or China at 5 a.m. CT on Friday.
