Cowgirl Softball Hosting Selection Show Watch Party

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State softball team is hosting its annual NCAA Selection Show watch party, which is open to fans and media, Sunday night at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater.
Fans are invited to arrive at 7:15 p.m. CT ahead of the show airing on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. CT.
Oklahoma State entered this week at No. 12 in the NCAA's RPI Rankings, and at No. 14 in both national polls. Those rankings, along with two impressive wins at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship, puts the Pokes in prime position to be selected as one of the 16 NCAA Regional hosts for the start of next weekend's NCAA Tournament.
OSU has not hosted a regional in Stillwater since 1998, when the Cowgirls eventually made the program's sixth appearance in the Women's College World Series. The Pokes last postseason action in Stillwater came in 2011 when OSU hosted a super regional against Houston and made its seventh WCWS appearance.
