Cowgirl Equestrian Event Teams Eliminated in Quarterfinals

WACO, Texas – All four of Oklahoma State's event teams fell in the quarterfinal round of their respective brackets Friday in the NCEA Championship at the Extraco Events Center.
The day started inside the show pavilion, where OSU's sixth-seeded Fences team fell to SMU, the three seed, by a 3-1 score. Abigail Brayman collected the lone point for the Cowgirls as she defeated Vivian Yowan, 252-228.
Texas A&M's third-seeded Flat squad defeated OSU, 3-1, later in the afternoon. Brayman once again was the only Hunter Seat Cowgirl to collect a point, besting Caroline Dance, 214-211.
Horsemanship came down to raw scores after a 2-2 split during competition, with Baylor outscoring OSU, 858.5-848, to advance to the semifinals.
All-Americans Harley Huff and Sarah Miller notched Horsemanship points for OSU.
The Cowgirls' Reining squad fell to Delaware State, 4-0, in its quarterfinal matchup.
