Cowgirl Soccer Posts Second Win Of Spring

STILLWATER - Oklahoma State recorded a 2-0 win over Central Oklahoma Saturday at Neal Patterson Stadium to remain perfect during the spring exhibition season.

Kim Rodriguez tallied a goal and an assist against the Bronchos as the Cowgirls improved to 2-0-0 on the spring.

Both OSU goals came in the opening 30 minutes. In the seventh minute, Rodriguez dribbled down the left side and slipped a low shot past the keeper to the back post to put the Cowgirls up 1-0.

OSU doubled its lead off a free kick with less than a minute left in the first period. Rodriguez delivered the ball from 40-yards out and after it glanced off the bottom of the crossbar, Grace Yochum was there to tap it in. The goal was Yochum's second of the spring.

In the final 30 minutes of play, Brylee Brasher made a pair of saves on UCO's only shots of the match.

OSU returns to action on March 30 when the Cowgirls host SMU.
