Cowgirls' Home Opener Moved to Thursday

STILLWATER – The No. 21 Oklahoma State softball team will play a doubleheader against Seattle Thursday beginning at 3 p.m. CT in an effort to avoid the freezing temperatures forecasted for the Stillwater area this weekend.
The schedule for the weekend will remain intact as it stands, but the coaches will review the forecast in the coming days to adjust as needed.
OSU is scheduled to face Seattle and Syracuse on Friday beginning at 2:30 p.m., McNeese State and Northern Iowa starting at 2:30 p.m. Saturday before wrapping up the OSU/Tulsa Invitational against Northern Iowa on Sunday at noon.
The Cowgirls are currently 10-5 through 15 games - their best three-week mark since also going 10-5 in 2014. Seven of the team's victories have come against teams either ranked or receiving votes, including two wins over top-15 foes.
