Postgame Notes
- Thomas Dziagwa's second straight career night helped Oklahoma State secure its 26th all-time victory over the Horned Frogs. It was the 33rd all-time meeting between the two schools and the Cowboys are now 26-7 all-time in the matchup. Tonight was the second meeting between the Cowboys and Horned Frogs this season after TCU took the last one in Fort Worth 70-68. OSU is now 10-2 against TCU at home.
- The Cowboys scored their first 18 points off of 3-pointers alone. The OSU lead got up to as many as 14 points in the first half due in large part to a 12-4 run late in the first half. OSU knocked down eight 3-pointers in the first half, which is the second most the team has made in a first half this season. The Cowboys hit nine in the first half of the Bedlam matchup in Stillwater. OSU held a 39-30 lead going into the break.
- TCU went on a quick 7-0 run in the second half to cut the OSU down to as few as six points. However, a Lindy Waters 3-pointer and a Thomas Dziagwa transition layup put that run to a stop and got the Cowboy lead back to double-digits. TCU went on a 10-1 run with a little over six minutes remaining to narrow the gap to as few as two points. Back-to-back baskets by Lindy Waters and Isaac Likekele in the final two minutes were the last field goals made in the game to secure the win for the Cowboys.
