Postgame Notes
- Thomas Dziagwa had a career day as the Longhorns and Cowboys met for the 95th time in history today. It was the second time the two teams have met this season. The Longhorns lead the overall series 51-44, despite Oklahoma State taking the Jan. 8 meeting in Stillwater. Texas has won the last four meetings in Austin after its win today.
- The Longhorns went on a 10-0 run over a 2:22 stretch in the first half before Cameron McGriff knocked down a 3-pointer with 10:48 left for his first points of the game. The Texas lead got as large as 11 points when it closed the first half on an 11-3 run.
- OSU went on a 9-0 run early in the second half to cut the Texas lead down to as few as four points. That run was fueled by two Thomas Dziagwa 3-pointers. However, Texas would respond with a 7-0 run of its own to get the lead back up to double-digits. From that Longhorn run onward, the lead never got lower than seven points for Texas.Â
