Second Day Of Play Begins At The Dickie V Clay Court Classic For Two Cowgirls

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. - Catherine Gulihur and Alana Wolfberg began their second day of play at the Dickie V. Clay Court Classic in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. on Saturday in both the singles and doubles draw of the tournament.
Gulihur and Wolfberg teamed up in the doubles semifinals of the tournament. The Cowgirl duo lost its match to Nebraska's sister duo of Ellie Kuckelman and Chloe Kuckelman, 8-5.
Wolfberg's first match of the day came against Nandini Sharma of UCF, which she won 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the semifinals of singles play. The freshman Cowgirl went up against Florida's Marlee Zein for a shot at the finals but lost the match, 6-2, 6-3.
Gulihur would continue her play in the back draw of the tournament on Saturday as well. Her first match of the day would result in a win over Amelie Boy from USF, 6-1, 6-3. The Cowgirl would win her second match of the day over Regan Posorske of Boston College in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0. That win pushes Gulihur into the finals of the back draw on Sunday where she will go up against Michigan's Nicole Hammond.
