Cowgirl Soccer To Face Santa Clara In NCAA Second Round In Los Angeles

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State will travel to California for the next round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship as the 13th-ranked Cowgirls will take on Santa Clara in a second-round match Friday in Los Angeles.
OSU will face the Broncos at 1 p.m. (CST) in a match hosted by the University of Southern California at Soni McAlister Field, with a berth in the Sweet 16 on the line.
The Cowgirls opened NCAA tourney play with a 1-0 win at home against South Dakota State last Friday as they improved to 16-2-3 on the season.
Santa Clara advanced with a 1-0 overtime win on their home field against California; the 20th-ranked Broncos are 14-5-2 on the year.
If the Cowgirls advance past Santa Clara, they will face the USC-Texas A&M winner in a Sweet 16 match Sunday at 3:30 p.m. (CST).
