All-Cowgirl Finals Are Set At The ITA Central Regional Championships

NORMAN, Okla. – Oklahoma State's women's tennis team is sending two doubles teams and two individuals to the finals of the ITA Central Regional Championships after an impressive run of semifinal matches on Monday.
In doubles, Ayumi Miyamoto and Lisa Rioux took down Oklahoma's No. 21 Ivana Corley and Jasmine Asghar, 2-6, 6-0, 10-3. The second Cowgirl victory came when Bunyawi Thamchaiwat and Dariya Detkovskaya defeated Martina Capurro and Camila Romero, also of Oklahoma, 7-6(7), 6-2.
In singles, Detkovskaya won her semifinal match over Oklahoma's No. 21 Oleksandra Korashvili, 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-4. No. 43 Rioux defeated No. 82 Capurro, 6-1, 6-7(8), 7-6(2).
Both finals matches will now be moved to Stillwater, Okla., starting with doubles play on Wednesday. Rioux and Miyamoto will face off against Thamchaiwat and Detkovskaya at 3:00 p.m. (CST), followed by the singles final between Rioux and Detkovskaya.
