The Oklahoma State Equestrian team began conference play with an emphatic 11-5 victory over defending Big 12 champion Baylor Friday at Totusek Arena.Â
"I am very proud of the girls and the way they rode today," said OSU head coach Larry Sanchez. "The energy was great from start to finish, and that is something that we need to bring to every single meet. They rode very well. Their focus was on what do we need to do to get the win."

Hannah Janson earned MOP honors in her 84-80 defeat of Michelle Mallett. Sydnie Ziegler and Rachael Davis tied at 82, and no point was awarded. Hannah Coleman took a comfortable win against Caroline Fuller, 81-72.5, and Katie Schell, the Flat Rider of the Month for September, posted an 88.5-76.5 victory against Madison Day to receive MOP honors and keep her perfect record intact.
