AUSTIN, Texas – Oklahoma State moved into a tie atop the Big 12 Conference standings Friday night with a 2-0 win over Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

The victory was also historic for Colin Carmichael as it was the 200^th of his 15-year head coaching career, all of those at OSU. The win saw the 18^th-ranked Cowgirls improve to 10-1-3 on the season and 3-1-1 in conference play.

Grace Yochum and Gabriella Coleman netted goals for OSU, and Dani Greenlee recorded her third shutout of the season with a four-save effort.

OSU took an early lead 10:26 into the contest. After Olyvia Dowell drove deep into the box, she delivered a cross that glanced off the crossbar. Yochum was there for the rebound and sent it in for her team-leading seventh goal and a 1-0 lead for the Cowgirls.

The visitors nearly doubled their lead in the 25^th minute, but a long shot by Hannah Webb was tipped over the crossbar by leaping UT goalie Nicole Curry.

Greenlee posted her first save of the match just over a minute into the second half to keep the OSU lead intact as she dove to her right to haul in a shot by Cyera Hintzen.

The Cowgirls doubled their lead in the 64^th minute with a great individual effort from Coleman as she stole the ball from a UT defender and then blasted a shot from the top of the 18-yard box to put OSU up 2-0. The goal was Coleman's fifth of the season.

OSU stayed strong defensively down the stretch to secure the victory, keeping six Texas shots out of the net. The Cowgirls were outshot 13-11 in the match, but seven of those shots were on goal. The visitors tallied a 4-3 edge on corner kicks.

The Cowgirls return to action Thursday at West Virginia.
