STILLWATER—The Oklahoma State men's basketball team dropped the second Bedlam matchup of the year, 70-61, on Wednesday night inside of Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Lindy Waters III scored a career-high 20 points. The Norman native is now averaging just over nine points and four rebounds per game against the Sooners.
The junior captain made four of his eight 3-point attempts. With that shooting performance from deep, Waters III has now made 14 of his last 23 3-point attempts.
Cameron McGriff was the only other Cowboy (8-11, 2-5 Big 12) to reach double figures in scoring with 13 points. He added five rebounds and three assists to his performance.
McGriff blocked two shots tonight. With those blocks, he tied for No. 22 on the OSU list for all-time career blocks.
The Cowboys got off to a hot start, going on a 23-4 run that started with 18:05 to go in the first half and lasted until 10:41 remained in the opening half of play.
Oklahoma (14-5, 3-4) got the last laugh, as they went on a 12-2 run over the last 6:04 of the game to clinch their second victory in the season series.
