Babic and Blanco Selected to Big 12 All-Tournament Team

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State women's tennis double team of senior Vladica Babic and junior Sofia Blanco have been named to the Big 12 All-Tournament team, the conference announced Monday.

Babic and Blanco went 2-0 in matches against Oklahoma and Texas Tech. The Cowgirl duo defeated Oklahoma's Christiana Brigante and Jasmine Asghar to clinch the doubles point for OSU in the Pokes' 4-1 first-round win over the Sooners on Friday. On Saturday, Babic and Blanco dominated No. 21 Sabrina Federici and Sarah Dvorak of Texas Tech, 6-2.

Ranked No. 13 in the nation and currently on a 12-match win streak, Babic and Blanco are 26-7 overall this season and 15-2 in duals.

The Cowgirls will learn their NCAA Tournament placement on Tuesday at 4 p.m. They are looking to make their seventh-straight tournament appearance and host for the fourth consecutive season.
