Cowgirl Freshman Duo Nabs NCEA Rider of the Month Honors

WACO, Texas – Oklahoma State equestrian's Abigail Brayman and Harley Huff received NCEA Rider of the Month honors for the month of March, it was announced today.
Brayman earned the honor in Equitation on the Flat after posting a 4-0 record in March. She won both of her matchups in the Big 12 Championships, averaging a score of 87.75. She was also the Most Outstanding Performer in Flat for the entire weekend.
Brayman has started out strong as a freshman for the Cowgirls. She has an overall 7-2 record in Flat, and she was recently named an honorable mention selection for NCEA All-America in Flat.
Huff has also enjoyed a freshman season with immense success. This was her second NCEA Rider of the Month honor to go along with two Big 12 Rider of the Month awards. In the month of March, she went 4-0 with two MOP honors in the regular season against West Texas A&M and Baylor.
Huff carried that success over to the Big 12 Championship, where she was 2-0 with an average score of 76.25, and she was the recipient of the Big 12 Horsemanship MOP for the entire weekend. Along with these honors, Huff was the Big 12 Horsemanship Rider of the Year, All-Big 12 First Team and First-Team NCEA All-America.
Brayman and Huff will look to continue their success when the No. 3 Cowgirls take on No. 6 TCU at the NCEA Championships on April 18.
