STILLWATER – Jake Taylor's two-out RBI single in the bottom of the 11^th inning lifted Oklahoma State to a 7-6 win over 18^th-ranked TCU Friday night at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

The win was OSU's first over a ranked opponent this season as the Cowboys improved to 13-10-1 overall and 2-2 in Big 12 Conference play and snapped the Horned Frogs' four-game winning streak; TCU fell to 14-8 and 3-1 in the league.

Jon Littell tied a career-high with four hits, and it was the senior's two-out triple that got the Cowboys' final rally started. Following Littell's hit, Michael Neustifter was intentionally walked to bring Taylor to the plate. And the freshman delivered with a single up the middle to plate Littell with the winning run.

Brady Basso was outstanding in relief to earn his first win of the season as the sophomore southpaw kept TCU off the scoreboard over the final five innings while striking out seven, just two shy of his career high. He allowed just four hits and worked out of several jams, stranding two Frogs on the bases in both the eighth and ninth innings and leaving the bases full with an inning-ending strikeout in the 10^th.

Also having a big night at the plate for the Cowboys was Trevor Boone, whose 2-for-4, three-RBI night included his first home run of the season, a two-run shot to right field in the second inning.

Taylor and Neustifter each had two hits in the contest, with Taylor driving in a pair of runs, while Colin Simpson blasted his Big 12-leading eighth homer of the season, a solo shot that got the scoring started for the Pokes.

The two teams return to action Saturday for a split doubleheader. The opener is set for a 1 p.m. first pitch while the second game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.
