PALOS VERDES, Calif. – Oklahoma State's Chih-Min Chen was one hole shy of another bogie-free back-9 in the second round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, and will enter Tuesday's final round in a tie for ninth place.

Chen posted a 3-over par 71, and only a bogey on 18 kept the junior from a second consecutive bogey-free back-9. Chen is 2-over for the event and just five strokes behind the leader, Arizona State's Olivia Mehaffey, at 3-under par.

As a team, the Cowgirls climbed two spots on the leaderboard and sit in 15th place at 39 over par 607. Alabama and UCLA are tied atop the team leaderboard at 8 over par 576.

Cowgirl Alexis Sadeghy posted a team-high five birdies on the day to card a 1-over par 72. The senior is tied for 42nd place at 8-over.

Freshman Stephanie Astrup finished the day 5-over par and sits tied for 76th place, while teammate Kenzie Neisen treads closely behind tied for 81st place after shooting 7-over par on the day.

OSU's Emma Whitaker completed her second round of her first collegiate match with a 12-over par and is placed tied for 91st on the leaderboard.

The Cowgirls will tee off the final round at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Palos Verdes Golf Club.
