Cowgirl Soccer Adds Transfer
December 20, 2018 | Cowgirl Soccer
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has added transfer forward Gabriella Coleman to its roster for 2019, Cowgirl head coach Colin Carmichael announced today.
Coleman joins the OSU program after spending her first two collegiate seasons at Mississippi State. She will have two years of eligibility with the Cowgirls beginning with the 2019 season.
"We're very excited to add Gabriella to our program. She is a gifted athlete who will give us a fast, physical presence in the attack," Carmichael said. "She has two years of experience playing in the SEC so she knows what to expect competing at a high level of college soccer. With her coming in next semester, she will have the spring season to integrate with our group which is an added bonus."
A native of Keller, Texas, the 5-foot-8 Coleman played in 32 games at Mississippi State, including nine as a starter, and recorded three goals and five assists. She is coming off a sophomore season in which she tallied three goals and a pair of assists to help lead the Lady Bulldogs to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.
Coleman was a prep standout at Keller High School, where she was an all-district performer who also ran track, and she played club soccer for D'Feeters Soccer Club.
