Cowgirls Bow Out at ITA Fall Championships

SURPRISE, Ariz. – Oklahoma State's women's tennis team wrapped up its fall season at the Oracle ITA Fall Championships on Thursday.
Lisa Marie Rioux lost her match in the round of 32 to the University of Virginia's Meghan Kelley in three sets, 6-1, 2-6, 6-4. Rioux and doubles partner Sofia Blanco defaulted in their consolation doubles bout later in the evening.
"It was another good fall season overall," said coach Chris Young. "I am excited to have some time now to focus on development with each player as we prepare for the spring season. We have another challenging schedule and we are excited to get it started in the Bahamas in two months."
The Cowgirls open up their spring season after the first of the year Jan. 12, in the Bahamas when they square off with Duke.
