Guinart and Gulihur Head to Dickie V Clay Court Classic

STILLWATER – Cowgirl tennis players Marina Guinart and Catherine Gulihur look to wrap up their fall schedule when they travel to the Dickie V. Clay Court Classic at Lakewood Ranch Club in Sarasota, Fla., on Thursday.

"This has been an annual event for our program over many years, and Dick Vitale does an amazing job of hosting our ladies," said coach Chris Young. "We are excited to go back again this year, and the field includes some of the best programs in college tennis."

The Cowgirls will face players from Florida, TCU, UCF Baylor, Penn State and others.

Senior Guinart finished as a singles runner-up at Milwaukee Classic and has made appearances at the ITA All-America Championships and ITA Regionals this fall. Gulihur also had success in Wisconsin, bringing home a doubles title with teammate Sofia Blanco.
