Stresnakova Remains Perfect at ITA All-American Championships

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Katie Stresnakova has gone 6-0 through four days of play at the ITA All-American Championships, earning a spot in the contest's main draw.
The Cowgirl defeated Florida State's Emmanuelle Salas, 6-3, 6-1, in her sixth match of the tournament on Wednesday. The win positions Stresnakova in the main draw to face Gonzaga's Sophie Whittle tomorrow.
Senior Marina Guinart wrapped up play in California with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Hawaii's Petra Melounova.
Doubles play begins tomorrow and will feature Cowgirl duo Sofia Blanco and Lisa Marie Rioux. Blanco claimed a doubles title in Milwaukee last month with Catherine Gulihur, while Rioux snagged a mixed doubles title of her own in Malibu. Their draw will be announced later this evening.
