STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's season came to an end in its regular-season finale Thursday night as the Cowgirls dropped a 3-2 contest to 25^th-ranked TCU at Neal Patterson Stadium.

The Cowgirls ended the season on a six-game losing streak to post a final record of 10-7-1 overall and 2-6-1 in Big 12 Conference play. OSU will not make an appearance in the postseason for the first time since 2005.

OSU jumped out to an early lead on Grace Yochum's fourth goal of the season just 7:24 into the match. After Taylor Olson delivered a pass to Julia Lenhardt, Lenhardt quickly sent a ball through the box, and Yochum slid in and delivered a shot to the near post from six-yards out to give the Cowgirls a 1-0 advantage.

That lead held until the 55^th minute when TCU netted the equalizer. Off a corner kick, a header by Yazmeen Ryan deflected off the post, and Kayla Hill was there for the rebound and tap in to make it 1-1.

The Horned Frogs (12-4-2, 5-3-1) took their first lead of the night in the 71^st minute as Tayla Christensen tallied her first goal of the season on a shot from 14-yards out.

This time it would be OSU with the equalizer as just over five minutes later, the Cowgirls converted on a set play. On a free kick near midfield, Kim Rodriguez sent a ball into the box that connected with a streaking Rachel VanFossen, who sent it in for her first goal of the season to tie the score at 2-2.

But the Frogs would get the game winner with just under eight minutes remaining when Messiah Bright kicked in a rebound following a Maddy Warren shot that was saved but not controlled by OSU goalie Hannah Warner, who posted a career-high seven saves in the match.

TCU finished with a 15-7 advantage in shots, including a 9-3 edge in the second half, while both teams recorded three corner kicks.
