Lushkova Advances to Stillwater Pro Tennis Classic Doubles Semis

STILLWATER – Former Oklahoma State women's tennis player Viktoriya Lushkova advanced to the semifinals of the Stillwater Pro Tennis Classic doubles draw Thursday evening at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
Lushkova and partner Anna Danilina faced a couple of familiar faces in the quarterfinals, as the pair collided with current Cowgirls Vladica Babic and Sofia Blanco for a spot in Friday's semis.
Lushkova and Danilina took momentum early, taking the first set, 6-4. After a back-and-forth second set resulted in a tiebreaker to decide the frame, Babic and Blanco answered with a 7-5 win in the breaker to force a third. In the decisive super tiebreaker, Lushkova and Danilina ran away with it, winning, 10-4, to advance.
Fans are encouraged to come out to the Greenwood Tennis Center Friday at 5 p.m. for the doubles semifinals. Admission is free and the event will feature a cookout courtesy of RCB Bank.
Singles quarterfinals will be played during the day, beginning at noon CT.
