Cowboys in the NFL: Preseason

STILLWATER – With the NFL regular season set to kick off next week, we'll take a quick look at how former Oklahoma State Cowboys have fared around the league entering the final week of preseason action.
Running back Chris Carson is coming off another impressive performance for Seattle this week, as he tallied 90 total yards during the Seahawks' 26-13 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. He ran the ball eight times for 46 yards and also caught two passes for 44 yards, including a 37-yard reception that put the Seahawks offense inside the Kansas City 30-yard line.
Carson has rushed for 92 yards on 21 attempts this preseason. The Lilburn, Georgia native has also scored two touchdowns.
Former OSU defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah has continued to be stand-out performer for the Cleveland Browns. This week, he recorded his first sack of the 2017 preseason against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Dallas Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey got on the scoreboard this week with a 42-yard field goal midway through the first quarter. Bailey has put all three of his attempts through the uprights so far this preseason.
Dez Bryant meanwhile has recorded two catches for 55 yards and a touchdown in limited action this preseason. His fellow Cowboy, Blake Jarwin, has also been a highlight for Dallas this preseason, catching four passes for 31 yards at the tight end spot.
The Oklahoma State-influence on the NFL also extends out to the west coast, where offensive tackle Russell Okung is embracing life with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Houston Texans quarterback Brandon Weeden has also seen plenty of action this preseason. The five-year veteran has completed 11 passes for 60 yards in his three appearances thus far.
Offensive guard Lane Taylor continues to have an impact with the Green Bay Packers, while former OSU defensive tackle Vincent Taylor is beginning his NFL career with the Miami Dolphins.
Oklahoma State also has several other in preseason camps around the league, which includes: Jimmy Bean (Denver), Shamiel Gary (Buffalo), Michael Hunter (New York Giants), Ashton Lampkin (Kansas City), Tyler Patmon (Jacksonville), Kevin Peterson (Los Angeles Rams), Lenzy Pipkins (Green Bay), Victor Salako (Philadelphia) and Jhajuan Seales (Tampa Bay).
