WACO, Texas – The Oklahoma State Equestrian team's season came to an end Thursday in the quarterfinals of the NCEA Championship as the Cowgirls fell to Texas A&M, 14-1.
Texas A&M won every event against the Cowgirls, claiming victory in the Hunt Seat events, 7-1, and Western events, 7-0-1.
Jorden Davis was the lone bright spot for the Cowgirls. In Equitation over Fences, the three-time NCEA All-American scored a point for the Cowgirls, defeating Texas A&M's Alex Desiderio, 165-130.
The Cowgirls end the season with an 8-2 regular season mark, and they climbed to as high as No. 2 in the NCEA rankings in 2017.
