Cowgirls Named To NCEA All-Academic Teams

WACO, Texas – Twenty-three Oklahoma State Cowgirl Equestrian team members were named to the American Quarter Horse Association NCEA Academic Teams and the American Paint Horse Association NCEA Academic Honor Roll, it was announced today.
Six Cowgirls were named to the first team, two held spots on the second team, six were given honorable mentions and nine were named to the honor roll. Junior Kirsten Chamberland was also given an elite nomination NCEA All-Academic honor for her 3.961 GPA.
Chamberland, Libby Collins, Maggie Drysch, Ebba Lange, Kendall Pedigo and Miranda Reed were each named first-team NCEA All-Academic, while Carly Barrick and Mia Bray snagged spots on the NCEA All-Academic second team.
Alexa Beaty, Natalie Campbell, Danielle Cohen, Jorden Davis, Katie Jones and Julia Purus were named to the honorable mention NCEA All-Academic team. Kaitlyn Arnold, Maddie Bender, Emily Bjorklund, Brenna Brawner, Taylor Hickam, Olivia Hupy, Sophia Koolwick, Jordan Langan and Addie Minnick all earned spots on the NCEA All-Academic honor roll.
The Cowgirls compete for the NCEA National Championship on April 14.
