Three Cowgirls Honored as Big 12 Riders of the Month for February

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State equestrian's Carly Barrick, Maggie Drysch and Hannah Mitchell were each honored as Big 12 Conference Riders of the Month for February, it was announced by the league today.
OSU dominated the honors for the month, winning three out of the four categories.
Barrick was awarded the honor in Equitation over Fences as she posted an impressive 3-0 record during the month of February. The Cowgirl junior recorded victories over Baylor, SDSU and TCU, averaging a score of 82 and defeating her opponents by an average of 11 points.
Drysch snagged the honor for Equitation on the Flat. Drysch was 2-1 during the month of February with victories against SDSU and TCU. A senior for the Cowgirls, Drysch was award Most Outstanding Performer for both victories and her 91-88 victory over her TCU opponent was a career-high score for the senior.
Mitchell had an outstanding February to add to her spectacular freshman year resumé. Mitchell went 3-0, extending her winning streak to eight dating back to October. She was awarded a Most Outstanding Performer honor for each of her victories as she defeated her opponents by an average of 6.8 points during the month.
The third-ranked Cowgirls look for their fourth-straight win Saturday when they host Fresno State at 10 a.m. at Totusek Arena.
