STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's women's basketball team had five players score in double figures, two of which recorded career highs, en route to an 88-70 victory over TCU on Wednesday night in front of 1,906 fans inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.

The win snapped a five-game losing streak for OSU, which improved to 14-11 overall and 4-10 in Big 12 play. The Horned Frogs fell to 12-13 and 4-10.

The Cowgirls shot 31 percent from the floor and trailed 19-14 after the first period before catching fire in the second quarter. OSU hit nine of its 12 shots in the period to take a 40-34 lead at the break.

In the third, TCU opened with a 3-pointer to get within three before OSU went on a 9-2 run to push the lead into double figures at 49-39. The Cowgirls would close the period on a 15-2 run capped by a 3-pointer from sophomore Karli Wheeler with two seconds remaining to lead 66-45 heading into the fourth.

The Horned Frogs would shoot 59 percent in the final period, but OSU once again hit nine of its 12 shots from the floor to remain in control.

For the game, the Cowgirls shot 60 percent and owned a 42-28 rebounding advantage.

Junior Kaylee Jensen poured in a career-high 32 points, hitting 12 of her 18 shots from the floor, to go with 15 rebounds on the way to her league-leading 14th double-double of the season.

Senior Diana Omozee hit eight of her 13 shots in the contest en route to a career-high 16 points, while junior Mandy Coleman and freshman Areanna Combs each scored 11 points. Wheeler added 10 points on the night as well.

The Cowgirls will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Waco, Texas to face Baylor at 5 p.m.
