Cowgirl Equestrian Previews Meet at SMU

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State Equestrian team continues its season this Saturday when it travels to Dallas to take on the SMU Mustangs.
This will be the second meet of the year for the Cowgirls after they beat Baylor 14-4 in their season opener. The Cowgirls will look to build off that win and continue their dominance against the Mustangs.
The series lead between the two teams goes to the Cowgirls, for they have the upper hand with an 8-2 series lead.
This will be a tough test for an experienced Cowgirl team. SMU is 2-0 on the season, winning its first two matches of the season against the other two Big 12 teams. The Mustangs beat TCU, 11-8, and Baylor, 10-10 (1510-1464).
"We are looking forward to our first road meet of the season," head coach Larry Sanchez said. "The girls have been practicing well and are confident about this weekend."
