Cowgirl Soccer: Looking Back & Ahead

Oklahoma State had its unbeaten streak snapped at four last weekend as the Cowgirls dropped their first two Big 12 Conference matches of 2016 on their home field, losing 1-0 to Iowa State Friday night before a 2-1 overtime setback against Baylor on Sunday. OSU is 5-5-2 on the season and faces a road test at Texas this week.

- Dike now ranks in the top 10 on the OSU career charts in goals (T-6th with 27), assists (6th with 19) and points (T-7th with 73). She also ranks seventh on the Cowgirls' all-time list with 190 career shots
- Dike has collected goals in six of OSU's 12 games this season. She has recorded a goal and/or assist in eight games.
- Michela Ongaro ranks third in the Big 12 this season with 40 saves. The junior now has 155 career saves to rank sixth on OSU's all-time list.
- Along with Dike, OSU midfielders Anna Beffer and Jaci Jones rank in the top 10 in the Big 12 in assists. The duo is tied for sixth with four assists on the season.
- In this week's official NCAA RPI, OSU came in at No. 109. Other Big 12 teams: West Virginia (5), Oklahoma (6), Texas Tech (30), Iowa State (31), Kansas (35), TCU (43), Texas (54), and Baylor (99).

- OSU plays just one match this weekend as the Cowgirls travel to Austin, Texas, to take on Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium Friday night at 7 p.m. The game will air live on the Longhorn Network.
- Texas is 6-4-1 on the season, which includes a 5-2-0 mark on its home field. The Longhorns opened Big 12 play last weekend by tying Baylor in Waco, 1-1, before suffering a 2-1 overtime loss at Oklahoma.
