Oklahoma State Checks in at No. 6 in NCEA Preseason Rankings

WACO, Texas – The National Collegiate Equestrian Association released its preseason rankings today for the upcoming 2016-17 season.
For the second year, the Oklahoma State Equestrian team will begin its season as the No. 6 ranked team in the NCEA.
The Cowgirls, led by returning NCEA All-Americans Jorden Davis and Ebba Lange, will face six ranked opponents on the season including Georgia, TCU and Baylor, who are all ranked in the top five.
The Cowgirls also face SMU, Fresno State and Delaware State each ranked as No. 7, No. 9 and No. 10, respectively.
OSU is coming off a 2015-16 in which they won their fifth Big 12 Conference title, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCEA Championships. The Cowgirls finished fifth in the final NCEA rankings.
