Adamovic Earns All-American Honor

Tulsa, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Katarina Adamovic secured All-America honors by advancing to the round of 16 at the NCAA Individual Championship on Thursday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The Cowgirl knocked off No. 5 Ellen Perez of Georgia for the second time in seven days.
Adamovic lost the first game of the opening set, but went on to take the next three games for a 3-1 lead.Â
The junior from Cacak, Serbia would go on to take the first set, 6-3.Â
Perez was able to build a 5-3 lead in the second set, but Adamovic continued to fight to even the score at 6-all.Â
The second set tiebreaker was tightly contested, but Adamovic ultimately finished off Perez in straight sets with a victory, 7-6(5).
Adamovic is the third-straight All-American for OSU, as Viktoriya Lushkova won the honor the last two years.

She will face No. 11 Belinda Woolcock of Florida at 10 a.m. on Friday.
