Lynch Named Finalist For Freshman of the Year

LOUISVILLE, KY. ---- Oklahoma State softball's Taylor Lynch was named a finalist on the 2016 Schutt Sports/NFCA Division I National Freshman of the Year Top 25 list, the NFCA announced on Thursday.
The Top 10 list will be announced on May 10, and the final three will be released on May 25. The National Freshman of the Year will be announced on May 31.
Lynch has impacted the Cowgirls since arriving in Stillwater. Her .437 batting average currently leads the Big 12, and she is second in the conference with 55 hits.
The Dallas native broke the school record for consecutive games with a hit with 23 earlier in the season.
