Adamovic Earns Player of the Week Honors

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's Katarina Adamovic has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Adamovic played a key role in helping the Cowgirls clinch at least a share of the Big 12 Championship, the first since 2001 for OSU.
This is the first player of the week honor for Adamovic during her Cowgirl career.
Adamovic and doubles partner Vladica Babic clinched the doubles point in both matches over the weekend against Texas Tech and TCU. The duo improved to 19-1 in doubles play during spring competition.
The Cacak, Serbia native also added a win in singles, as she defeated Marie Norris of TCU in a straight-set victory, 6-4, 6-1.
Adamovic is the third Cowgirl to earn player of the week honors this season, as she joins Viktoriya Lushkova and Kelsey Laurente.
The Cowgirls have a chance to win the conference title outright with a win against either Kansas State or Kansas this weekend.
