Six Strokes Separate Cowgirls From Lead With 18 Holes To Play At Darius Rucker

HILTON HEAD ISLAND – S.C. – The Oklahoma State Cowgirls shot the third lowest team round of the day and are in the hunt for the team title after two rounds of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.
The Cowgirls shot a 6-over 290 to move three spots up the leaderboard into a tie for third. Alabama maintained their clubhouse lead, but the Cowgirls were able to gain eight strokes on the Crimson Tide.
Maddie McCrary played her way into individual title contention with her 1-under round of 70. The sophomore birdied three times bringing her two-day total to six as she ends the day tied for third.
Lauren Coughlin of Virginia and Vanderbilt's Alexandra Farsnsworth share the clubhouse lead at 3-under heading into tomorrow's final round.
Linnea Johansson ended the day in 10th place after a 3-over 74. The redshirt junior is looking for her second consecutive top ten finish.
Emma Broze is tied for 39th after shooting a second round 74. Broze is tied for the tournament's best par 5 scoring average at 4.33.
Chih-Min Chen is also tied for 39th following her second round 73 and Kenzie Neisen is tied for 47th at 8-over.
Tee times for tomorrow's final round at Long Cove Club begin at 8:00 a.m.
