Cowgirls Secure First Round Bye At NCEA Championship

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Equestrian has been tabbed as the four seed for this year's NCEA National Championship in Waco, Texas.
With 12 teams competing, the top four seeds (Auburn, Georgia, Baylor, Oklahoma State) all receive first round byes.
The Cowgirls will face the winner of fifth-seeded Texas A&M and twelfth-seeded Fresno State on Friday, April 15 at 8:30 a.m.
Fresh off winning the 2016 Big 12 Equestrian Championship, the Cowgirls are aiming to ride their momentum into Waco.
"I think it's important that we keep the momentum we gained from Big 12's going into nationals," Junior Maggie Drysch said. "At Auburn we showed that it was achievable and last weekend we actually did it."
