Meet Notes: Texas A&M

The fifth-ranked Oklahoma State equestrian team is back on the road again this weekend as the Cowgirls square off with against No. 3 Texas A&M on Saturday in College Station, Texas.

The Cowgirls (6-3) currently sit atop the Big 12 standings with a 5-1 conference record.

OSU is coming off a split on the road last weekend, defeating TCU, 12-8 and falling to Baylor, 13-6.

Leading the Cowgirls last weekend were Miranda Reed, Justine Peters, Elizabeth Collins and Julia Purus, who each earned Most Outstanding Performer honors for their efforts against the Horned Frogs and Bears.

Here are some quick hits to look for during this weekend's meet:

Julia Purus is unbeaten in her last seven matches for the Cowgirls.
Ebba Lange has been dominant this season, owning an 8-1 record in Reining.
Oklahoma State has won the last three regular season meetings against Texas A&M.
The all-time series between the two schools is tied 12-12.

The meet starts at 11 a.m. at the Hildebrand Equine Complex and is the last road meet for the Cowgirls this season.
