Busy Weekend Ahead for OSU Track and Field

After a week off from competition, the Oklahoma State track and field teams split up and head to four meets across three time zones in the busiest weekend of the indoor season.

Both days of the Tyson Invitational will be broadcast live on SECNetwork+.
The remaining three meets, the ISU Invitational, Husky Classic and Don Kirby Elite, will not be broadcast.
MEET FORMAT/SCHEDULE (ALL TIMES CT)The Iowa State Invitational starts at 11 a.m., on Friday with the field events and ends after the third section of the men's 3,000-meter run.
Day two starts with the 800-meter runs at 10 a.m. The running events take a break at 11:30 following the 60-meter dash and resume competition with the 60-meter finals at 1 p.m. The final event of the day is the 4X400-meter relay at 5 p.m.
Friday's events at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas, begin at 1 p.m. with the mile. The first field event is scheduled for 2 p.m., and the final event of the day is the men's 400-meter dash at 6:55 p.m.
Day two is much shorter, with the pole vault leading off the day at 11 a.m., and the 4X400-meter relay wrapping up the event at 4:45.
The Don Kirby Elite and Husky Classic schedules can be found on the hosts' respective websites.
The Don Kirby Elite has a 4 p.m. start time scheduled for Friday and will continue well into the night with the men's high jump at 9:15 p.m.
Day two's events begin at 11 a.m. and will wrap up after the 4X400 meter relays at 4:20 p.m.
Up in Seattle, the Husky Classic begins at 6 p.m. Friday and runs until the men's mile at 10:55 p.m.
The second day of competition starts at 11 a.m., and continues throughout the day until the 4X400-meter finals at 7:50 p.m.

Edwards made history again with a school record 4:32.14 in the mile invitational.
Freshman standout Jacob Fincham-Dukes jumped a 7.36m/24-1.75 to move up into a tie with teammate Jerel Morrow for fourth all-time in OSU history and claim the fourth-best jump in the Big 12 this season.
Chase Ealey recorded the second-best throw in Cowgirl history, trumping her mark from a week ago by more than a foot.
John Teeters cruised to the 60-meter win, running the fastest time in the NCAA this season. His 6.54 in the final came within two-hundredths of a second of matching his personal best that he set during his historic 2015 season. Â
Ealey secured the No. 2 finish and broke her own school record with a 16.92m/55-6.25 mark, just a little more than an inch shy of the winning throw.
Anna Boyert entered the Cowgirl history book with her third-place performance in the 3,000-meter invitational. By finishing the race in 9:26.10, she managed to claim the No. 6 spot on the Cowgirl top-10 list. In the Big 12, her time is the fastest this season by nearly five seconds. Nationally, she sits a half-second out of a top-10 place.
Three Cowgirls earned top-five finishes in the 800-meter invitational, led by All-American Savannah Camacho who won the event in 2:06.67. Clara Nichols (2:06.77) and Molly Sughroue (2:07.86) finished second and fourth, respectively, with Sughroue surpassing her personal best by a second.

At last season's Tyson Invitational, John Teeters ran the ninth-fastest 60-meter dash in NCAA history with a school record 6.52.
Up in Ames, at the Iowa State Classic, three Cowboys ran a sub-four minute mile with Chad Noelle leading the way with a 3:57.78. Vegard Oelstad (3:58.79) and Matthew Fayers (3:59.55) followed Noelle in the event.
On the women's side, Kaela Edwards' 2:03.70 in the 800-meter run secured her a trip to the NCAA Championships.

BOWERMAN UPDATE: WEEK THREE Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
The second Bowerman list of the season was released Feb. 4, and two Cowboy stars were featured. One made the elite list of 10, while the other received a nod for the first time this season, just missing out on the list.
Nick Miller held his spot in the Bowerman top-10. The Cowboy senior and British Champion has not competed this indoor season, but is expected to make a return to the Cowboys in 2016 after redshirting this past outdoor season.
Making his debut on the list is speedster John Teeters. With his impressive performances in the past three weeks, Teeters has returned to the top of the NCAA in the 60-meter dash, leading the event for the second time in two seasons. Last season, Teeters' 6.52 gave him the joint-top time in the nation after the Indoor season. He finished as the national runner-up.
Teeters has qualified for the Indoor Championships this season, while Miller's highly anticipated debut doesn't yet have a date set.
The next Bowerman update is scheduled for March 4.

After jumping 10 spots in the week two rankings, the Oklahoma State Cowgirls held firm at the 22nd spot in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association top-25, released Monday.
The Cowgirls began the season outside the top-25 at 26th and receiving votes in the preseason poll then fell to 32 during week one. After stellar performances at the DeLoss Dodds and Razorback Invitational, OSU climbed 10 places to reach 22 and remained there following a week off from competition.
All-American Kaela Edwards has had a sensational start to her junior indoor season, leading the NCAA in the mile and owning a close second in the 800-meter run.
With her debut 2:03.60 in the 800-meter run from the Texas A&M Invitational, Edwards secured the No. 1 time in the nation and held that spot until last week. With a third-straight appearance in the national 800-meter indoor semifinal guaranteed, Edwards turned her attention to the mile.
At the Razorback Invitational, Edwards ran a World No. 6 4:32.14 to take the NCAA lead and clinch another spot in the Indoor Championships.
