Rogers State Postgame Notes

- OSU has now reached the 100-point plateau in all four of it's home games this season. The Cowboys entered the night with the nation's No. 3 ranked offense at 98.5 points per game.
- Jawun Evans led the way for the Cowboys with 25 points, which gives the sophomore his ninth career 20-point game. Evans has scored at least 13 points in every game this season, and entered tonight scoring a Big 12-high 24.7 points per game.
- Evans posted five first-half steals against Rogers State, which is tied for the third most ever by a Cowboy in a single half. Brian Montanati (6 vs Alcorn State, 1999) and Brooks Thompson (6 vs SMU, 1993) hold the school record. Evans finished with five steals on the night.
- Phil Forte scored 10 points tonight to become the 17th player in Oklahoma State history to reach the 1,400-point plateau. The senior now has 1,409 career points to his credit.
- Forte also connected on a pair of 3-pointers, which inched him closer to the program's career record. Forte now has 260 career 3-pointers, which is just 39 behind Keiton Page for the record.
- The Cowboys scored 52 first-half points against Rogers State. OSU has now scored 50 or more first-half points in five of the seven games this season.
- OSU wore special turquoise Nike N7 uniforms to pay tribute to the Native American heritage of the state of Oklahoma. Turquiose represents harmony, fellowship and friendship in the Native American culture.
- The Cowboys forced Rogers State into committing 22 turnovers on the night. OSU entered the night ranked third in the country in turnovers forced at 20.5 per contest. Every OSU opponent this season has coughed up at least 15 turnovers.
- Brandon Averette scored 15 points on the night to give the freshman back-to-back double-digit scoring performances. He also tallied 12 points against Georgetown.
- Lucas N'Guessan had another efficient game from the floor. After going 4-of-4 for eight points against Georgetown, N'Guessan was 4-of-4 shooting against the Hillcats. On the year, he is 11-of-12 shooting.
- Tavarius Shine missed the game due to injury, and is considered day-to-day with a back injury.
- OSU now leads the all-time series with Rogers State, 2-0. The Cowboys won the only other previous meeting, 62-53, in Stillwater on Jan. 7, 2008.
- The victory gives Brad Underwood the 95th win of his career. He is now 95-15 in his fourth season as a head coach, and his .864 win percentage is tops among all active Division I head coaches.
- Since 1989, the Cowboys are 201-7 (.966) in Gallagher-Iba Arena against non-conference foes. All-time, OSU is 414-52 in home non-conference games in GIA.
