STILLWATER, Okla. — Jawun Evans scored 25 points, along with five steals, four assists and four rebounds to lead Oklahoma State to a 101-85 victory over Rogers State Wednesday night.
Averaging 98.5 points per game entering the contest, ranking second in the nation, Oklahoma State (6-1) surpassed the 100-point mark for the fourth time this season and went over 95 for the sixth.
Evans has scored at least 13 points in every game this season, and entered tonight scoring a Big 12-high 24.7 points per game. On the other end, he posted five first-half steals against the Hillcats, which is tied for the third most ever by a Cowboy in a single half. Brian Montanati (6 vs Alcorn State, 1999) and Brooks Thompson (6 vs SMU, 1993) hold the school record.
