Around the Horn with Taylor Lynch

STILLWATER - When the Oklahoma State softball team kicks off its 2016 season in February, four freshmen and three transfers will appear in a Cowgirl uniform for the first time. The week, okstate.com spoke with Taylor Lynch, a freshman from Red Oak, Texas, and learned about her life away from the softball diamond.

What is your favorite place to eat in Stillwater?
"My favorite place to eat in Stillwater is Granny's."

What's your pre-game ritual?
"Before every game, I always listen to the same song. 'Hall of Fame' by the Script."

Who is your favorite athlete?
"My favorite athlete is Dez Bryant."

If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?
"If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be Eric Thomas."

Who is the funniest person on the team?
"The funniest person on the team is Darcy Taylor. Anytime she is around, the entire team is always laughing."

What is your favorite TV show?
"My favorite TV show by far would have to be Criminal Minds."

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
"If I could travel anywhere, I would travel to New York because I have always wanted to go to Times Square."

If you weren't playing softball, what sport would you be playing?
"If I was not playing softball, I would be playing volleyball because that had always been my second sport growing up."

Aspen or Starbucks?
"Starbucks, for sure."

Have you ever met a celebrity?
"I have never met a celebrity, but if I had a choice, I would want to meet Sandra Bullock because she is my favorite actress."

What made you decide to come to OSU?
"I chose to come to OSU because of the great atmosphere. It's a good feeling knowing that everyone in Stillwater loves this university just as much as you do."
