STILLWATER - When the Oklahoma State softball team kicks off its 2016 season in February, four freshmen and three transfers will appear in a Cowgirl uniform for the first time. The week, okstate.com spoke with Asea Webber, a freshman from Mannford, Okla., and learned about her life away from the softball diamond.
What is your favorite place to eat in Stillwater?
"My favorite place has to be Fuzzy's, I get the nachos and could eat that any day."
What's your pre-game ritual?
"I sit down and think about my up-to bats. My dad has always taught me that it's not
always about physical preparation, but also mental."
Who is the funniest person on the team?
"Well, there is Darcy and Berkley, which could be considered one person."
What is your favorite TV show?
"It's currently Bob's Burgers, but Scandal is a close second."
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
"Argentina. It's so beautiful."
If you weren't playing softball, what sport would you be playing?
"I would be trying to play basketball."
Aspen or Starbucks?
"Starbucks, definitely. Coffee is good, but the cake pops are what attract me."
What made you decide to come to OSU?
"Walking around the campus and seeing how beautiful it is, the nice people, and my awesome teammates."
