Cowgirl Tennis Wraps Up Weekend Tournaments

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State women's tennis wrapped up play in both the OU Invitational and Little Rock Invitational on Sunday.
Five Cowgirls combined to win 17 of 21 matches to cap off an impressive opening weekend as a team.
The duo of Katarina Adamovic and Vladica Babic took home the doubles title of the Little Rock Invitational. The doubles final featured two Cowgirl pairings, as seniors Kelsey Laurente and Maria Alvarez faced Adamovic and Babic. Adamovic and Babic won a tough match, 7-6, to capture the title.
The Cowgirls continued to win in Little Rock, with Babic and Laurente both taking home titles in the tournament's singles competition.
Carla Tur Mari finished her weekend in the OU Invitational with a 6-4, 6-4, victory against Aleksandra Zenovska of TCU. Tur Mari closed the weekend by winning three of her four matches in Norman.
The Cowgirls return to action next weekend for ITA All-American Qualifying.
