Cowgirls Prepare to Start Fall Season

STILLWATER - Oklahoma State women's tennis begins its fall season this weekend in a pair of tournaments on the road.
Cowgirl junior Carla Tur Mari begins her fall season in the OU Invitational in Norman, Oklahoma. Tur Mari is featured in the 16-player Sooner bracket and will open play against Olaya Garrido-Rivas of TCU at 11 a.m. on Friday.
Four Cowgirls will make a trip to Little Rock, Ark. to play at the Country Club of Little Rock. Seniors Maria Alvarez and Kelsey Laurente, junior Katarina Adamovic and sophomore Vladica Babic represent the Cowgirls.
This weekend is the first competitive set of tournaments for the Cowgirls this season, who are looking to build upon last year's 23-6 record and an apperance in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.
