Cowgirls Seeded Third for Big 12 Tournament

IRVING, Texas -- The No. 10 Oklahoma State women's tennis team will be the No. 3-seed at this week's Big 12 tournament, the league announced.

The women's conference championship will run April 23-26 at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas on Baylor University's campus.

The Cowgirls (20-4; 7-2 Big 12) just finished the regular season tied for second in the conference and will face sixth-seeded Kansas on Friday in their first match of the tournament.

Two weeks ago, OSU took on KU at the Greenwood Tennis Center and produced a 4-0 shutout over the Jayhawks.

The match is slated for 9 a.m. at the Grandstand courts.
