Lushkova Named 2015 All-American

STILLWATER -- Oklahoma State's Viktoriya Lushkova was named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's 2015 Division I All-America women's team for the second-straight year, it was announced today.
Lushkova becomes only the second Cowgirl to earn two career singles All-America honors. The first was Renata Baranski in 1986 and 1987.
The Cowgirl, who just wrapped up her sophomore campaign at the NCAA singles and doubles tournament, finished 25-8 overall with a 13-4 mark in spring competition in singles. The two-time NCAA qualifier earned several accolades this season, including being named the Big 12 Co-Player of the Year and claiming the ITA Central Region Championship title in singles and doubles. As a sophomore, Lushkova also achieved the highest singles ranking in school history at No. 10. To round out the season, she was tabbed as the No. 17 player in the nation in the final Oracle/ITA rankings.
Criteria to earn ITA All-America honors in singles includes being a top 16 seed in the NCAA Singles Championship, a top-16 finish at the NCAA Singles Championship or a top-20 finish in the final Oracle/ITA National Singles Rankings.
