Cowgirl Tennis Ranked No. 12 in Final ITA Poll

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's women's tennis squad earned a No. 12 ranking in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll to close out the 2014-15 season, it was announced today.
The 2014-15 season proved to be one of the best Cowgirl Tennis campaigns in recent history as the Cowgirls made their first Sweet 16 appearance since the NCAA tournament was expanded to 64 teams in 1996. To get to the round of 16, the
Pokes hosted their first NCAA regional in Stillwater, where they took out Boston University and No. 27 Arizona State.
The squad also earned its highest ranking in program history, when it was tabbed as the No. 8 team in the nation on March 3. The Cowgirls also broke ranking records in singles and doubles, when Viktoriya Lushkova earned a No. 10 ranking in singles and Lushkova and Kelsey Laurente were named No. 3 in doubles.
OSU (23-6) capped off the year with the Big 12 Co-Player of the Year in Lushkova and the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year in Laurente.
